Help with create a class for close range wepones
Are you the original author?: Yes

Hi everyone this is my guide to create a class in the game Call of Duty Modern Warfare.

firt of all you have to find out what type of gamer you are in the fast paced world of call of duty.

do you like to get up in your oponents face thrust a shotgun in there chest and laugh maniacally as you blow them to pieces well here are some tips for you.

since you are going to be running up on your enemy you willhae to make a tough decesion on wopens now at lower levels you only have one choice the W1200 its a pump but it has a lot of shots to get off before reloading. at later levels you get the M1014 hich is a semi auto shotgun but has only 4 shots before reloading is needed.

there are advantages to both the W1200 has a longer range and packs more of a punch than the faster shooting M1014 so you can be a little farther away from your target. the M1014 does shoot faster but it usually takes 2 shots to kill an enemy but this is not a problem it is quick to reload and it has semi auto capabilities so you can shoot to your hearts content.

now to the perks in the blue slot we have a large range of useful perks for a close range class. for this class you will want either RPG-7 x2, special gernades x 3,  frag gernades x 3, or bomb squad.

RPG-7 x2 on of the most satasfying things in call of duty 4 is sniping someone with a rocket. watching that sucker streak across the map thinking its going to curve up only to have it slam into the ground next to an oponent is the greatest thing in the game.

special gernades are important because the imobilize your oponent as welll as blinding them and deffining them making it easier for you to get in close and take them out.

frag gernades are good for spaming the map people dont like this much but with some training by me yoou can learn to throw them like a god and get a kill every time without the gernade even touching the ground.

anmd last but certainly not least we have bomb squad, useful for sneaking up on thoes pesky snipers or for sliping into the enemy spawn un scathed it detects C4 as well as claymores one of the most usefull perks in the game.

now for the red perks, red perks make you harder to kill or make it easier for you to kill them.

the usefull ones here are Stopping Power, Juggernaut, Sleight of Hand and UAV jammer.

now alot of people frown upon the use of juggernaut but i believe that on the right classes it is ok such as shotgun classes since you have to get in close they have a longer time to shoot you and i think it is only fair. juggernot will also make you imune to one hit kill body shots from snipers even with stoping power on them.

now stoping power will increase your shotgun range slightly as well as insuring the one hit kill you need to be effective with it. it will also make your shots with the pistol if you ever need to use it do more damage and kill things in less time. i suggest using a silenced pistol such as the USP .45 since the shotgun is silencer less you will need something to keep you off the radar if you are behind enemy lines.

next we have slight of hand. this is by far the most useful perk for the M1014 since it decreases the reload time of your gun drastically it will make it better to kill multiple people in a pinch it will also decrease the reload time of your rockets.

now we have uav jammer something that is very powerful in the right hands what this does is remove you from the enemy UAV until you shoot a non silenced wopen that is. this makes it easier to get behind the enemy and F*** up their team.

now come the green perks. the useful ones are Extreme Conditioning, Steady Aim, Martyrdom, and Dead Silence.

extreame conditioning is good to get you to the enemy get you there fast and efficiently. it makes you run for longer periods of time without having to stop.

steady aim is pretty useful for shotguns and any close range combat even with the snipers it makes your gun twice as accurate from hip firing and makes the recoil with shoulder firing slightly more accurate.

martyrdom is not ass effective later in the rounds because people know you have it on and they will avoid your body after killing you. but at round start if you can get near them your charecter will drop a gernade and possably do some damage.

and last we have dead silence. dead silence greatly reduces the amount of noise you make when you run or walk or fall of a ledge or any movement at all. it is one of the most effective perks in the game because it allows you to sneak up on people without them hearing you while you sprint or run.

well now that wasnt har now was it. if you want me to teach you how to set up these perks to work in amazing combos hit me up on XBL = TB HiddenCosmos if i am a trainer on here soon then hit me up there  will make you the best.

SEMPER FI carry on. ~Cosmos~

not bad but.............
on February 13, 2010
all beginners are given the m16 (epic weapon) to start off which some people think is too over powered to begin with. this wepon acompanied by the mp5 (smg) and the infamous m40a3 (sniper) is the only guns you really need.
PERKS = perk one: bandolier or special grenades x3 flash r stuns,
perk two: stoping power. incase you are ever in a match where your up against an opponent who has a better connection than you i would advise on keepin this perk the same.
perk 3: deep impact, steady aim or dead silence. this is where the desire is to be all guns blazing or to be the tacticaly minded person in the team who uses dead silence. would be able to hear the footsteps of an enemy or team mate near them and make them aware.

the other two classes can be used for any means and if they dont feel comfortable with the m16 the m4a1 is the fully automated equilivant. with these 3 classes the gamer can become more adaptable to the task at hand and they will become a feared cod 4 player that can take on the opposite team almost single handedly.
